The WEL Networks Asset Management Plan presents the processes, practices and performance measurement for our assets in the next ten years.

It ensures we continue to provide a strong, safe, efficient, and reliable supply for our customers, and reflects our desire to be Best in Service, Best in Safety.

The AMP focuses on key initiatives that will improve our planning, business performance and investment decisions. While progressing and achieving these we do not compromise on the safety of our staff, contractors, and the public. This is always our foremost priority, and informs everything we do.

The 2017 AMP Update covers the planning period from 1 April 2017 to 31 March 2027 and provides the latest information relating to our key initiatives, performance, forecast network and non-network investments and our long-term strategies for asset management.

Due to the effort undertaken in the last two years, there are only minor changes proposed this year. The 2017 Update should be read in conjunction with the full 2016 AMP which contains a greater level of detail.
